The State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) took part in the 11th CFA Investment Conference for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, held in Istanbul.
The conference brought together leading investment professionals, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss the region’s economic outlook, the development of capital markets, and the role of alternative investments in a rapidly changing global environment.
As part of the event, Mr. Rashad Rzayev, Head of the Alternative Investments Risk Management Division at SOFAZ’s Risk Management Department, joined the panel discussion titled “Market Dynamics in CEE: Expert Views on Risks and Opportunities”. In his remarks, he highlighted SOFAZ’s investment strategy, its engagements in the CEE region, and the key challenges faced in managing risks associated with alternative investments.
